| Summary | | The accounting intern is being offered as a FT Summer Internship w/ part-time co-op status during the school year. This position will work in a global, not-for-profit accounting environment, and will be involved in the compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data. |
| Specific Responsibilities | - Preparation of journal entries & ledgers
- Fixed asset/inventory accounting
- Preparation of balance sheet and bank account reconciliations
- Assist with preparation of the monthly company financial statements
- Financial/accounting projects

| Skill Requirements | - Must be Accounting or Finance major
- Must be of Junior/Senior Status; Overall and major grade point average of 3.0 or better preferred
- Requires ability to maintain pertinent documentation
- Strong organizational skills, ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely and effective manner
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with management and other staff members
- Technical knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc) and ability to learn and effectively utilize other Accounting systems
