Summary
An exciting opportunity to join the TM Forum's rapidly growing commercial sales team and contribute to the growing success of its conferences, seminars and training.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage direct delegate sales activities for all TM Forum Events and Training and Education programs.
    • a) This includes agreement of appropriate discount levels with the revenue-line-holders for any bulk deals, and working to ensure high quality attendees are secured.
  • Work up-front with VP, Commercial Sales and Event organisation teams, to ensure revenue opportunities are maximised from the outset of event planning.
  • Provide timely/weekly sales reports to VP Commercial Sales and other staff as appropriate.
  • Work with internal IT team to ensure systems are created and/or updated to efficiently support and track delegate acquisition.
  • Assist in determining pricing and value propositions for delegates for all TM Forum events.
  • Assist in analyzing and proposing new pricing mechanisms and value-adds for attendees for all TM Forum events.
  • Conduct collections work for appropriate attendee invoices for all TM Forum events, leading up to the start of the event.
  • Work aggressively towards making sales projection numbers against plan for all TM Forum events

Skill Requirements
  • Some college level education in a business or technology related field and minimum 2-5 years experience.
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Experience in the Telecommunication sector is beneficial
  • Strong oral presentation skills
  • Must be highly motivated, able to interact with senior executives over the phone
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Skype.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use other in-house support and reporting tools.
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work with colleagues across multiple time zones and cultures
