It will also give you an insight into TM Forum’s new Developer Network provides the technical documentation, knowledge and access to expertise which support and guide developers and IT professionals to deliver rapid, high-quality solutions based on TM Forum Frameworks. This presentation will be a guided tour through the Developer Network Portal and its contents. 11.30am Using TM Forum Interfaces Ken Dilbeck, Director, Technical Program, TM Forum
In this session, Ken will offer a detailed explanation of the TM Forum Interface Program and the available interfaces. The presentation will include a few case studies and use cases covering examples of how the APIs have been successfully implemented. There will also be a brief discussion of future plans for the interfaces. 12.00pm TM Forum Interface Program (TIP) Open Source Project Craig Gallen, Consultant, The OpenNMS Group, Inc. The TM Forum Interface Program (TIP) is standardizing the next generation of OSS interfaces by drawing upon the strengths of MTOSI, OSS/J, MTNM and IPDR. One of the most innovative aspects of the program is in its use of Open Source development techniques and technologies to increase the attractiveness of the new interfaces for early adopters. Open source is being used to create the core TIP Framework artefacts, Reference Implementations, Compatibility Test Kits and an Implementation library for prospective developers. This talk will provide an introduction to the TIP Open Source Project and infrastructure. 1pm Buffet lunch
2pm TM Forum Interface Program (TIP) Enterprise Identity Management Vinay Devadatta, Principal Consultant, Wipro Technologies Ltd. This is one of the initiatives where TMForum has taken up a not so obvious, but a very practical problem faced by large Service Providers, through an innovative solution. This TIP team envisages to solve problems related to managing OSS Users, their roles and authorities in a multi-vendor deployment scenario. This presentation will also cover the reasons why Wipro got involved with the Forum and the value it brings to Wipro. 2.30pm TM Forum and Cloud Ken Dilbeck, Director, Technical Program, TM Forum
