Best Catalyst Project Management World Nice
Available for Entry until April 25th 2008 

This award will be given to the MW Nice catalyst project that most successfully demonstrates how the project has furthered TM Forum initiatives in relation to the principles of its project. This award will include both documentation submission as well as a remote presentation/demonstration.

Eligibility

This category includes all 2008 MW Nice catalyst project participants. Shortlisted candidates must be prepared to present/demonstrate their project via Go to Webinar on 14 May 2008 of in order to be eligible for this award.

Judging Criteria

The judges will be looking for the following:

  • How well does this project support or further the initiatives of TM Forum business or technical work?
  • Are the main principles of this project clearly demonstrated?
  • Quality and timeliness of project deliverables
  • Collaborative efforts of team members
  • How well has the project demonstrated its intended concepts or COTS related developments dependent on the nature of the project
  • Demonstrable evidence of Industry Leadership and innovation

 

Due to the variance in project types, each project will be judged upon its own merits. Projects will not be judged against one another. 

Submission Criteria

All participants are required to submit documentation (via the TM Forum online submission system) which answers the following questions:

  1. Provide a description of the project and its objectives. This should include information on Specification Validation, Proof of Concept, Technology Exploration, and Supplier Proving Ground (1000 characters = 170 words)
  2. What specific TM Forum related work is your project supporting or attempting to evaluate? (1000 characters = 170 words)
  3. How has the project furthered the technical work of the TM Forum? (1000 characters = 170 words)
  4. What COTS products were used or what concepts were learned in terms of what to do or what not to do? (1000 characters = 170 words)
  5. How has this project or how will this project benefit Service Providers? (1000 characters = 170 words)

Online submissions are due by 25 April 2008.

All eligible catalyst projects will be required to provide a remote demonstration and short PowerPoint presentation to the judging panel via Go to Webinar on 14 May 2008. All participants have 20 minutes to complete their demo/presentation (15 minutes for demo/5 minutes for questions).
