This award will be given to a Service Provider and their Supplier/System Integrator for successful adoption and implementation of TM Forum interface standards in a live environment. Award submissions are made jointly by a Service Provider/Supplier or System integrator team to recognize their work in collaborating on standards implementation.

Eligibility

This award is open to any Service provider/Network Operator and Supplier/System Integrator team that have implemented a TM Forum interface standard as part of any OSS or BSS project or other relevant area.

The implementation must be deployed in a live environment no later than 31 December 2007 and based on one of the following TM Forum standards:

• Prosspero Approved Solution Package
• NGOSS Interfaces
• MTOP (Although, I think that the PMC would take issue with MTMN)
• OSS/J
• CO-OP
• IPDR
• OTHER

Judging criteria

The judges will be looking for verification of the following:

• Which TM Forum interface standard or standards were used in the implementation?
• What Use Cases were supported through the implementation of this standard?
• How the Service provider and its customers have benefited from using Prosspero/TM Forum standards in this manner.
• Improvements in business and/or operational excellence as a result of standards implementation.
• Recommendations for extending the standard.

Submission Requirements

The entrants must provide documentation that answers the following questions:

1. Name of the TM Forum interface standard adopted and implemented, including the version. (i.e. Prosspero TT API, MTOP, etc.)
2. Indicate if it was implemented via a certified product, custom integration, etc.
3. Describe how this interface standard was applied and the extent to which it is implemented. Information such as what Use Cases were supported through this implementation, in how many sites or across how many systems, and for what length of time it has been deployed (1000 characters = 170 words)
4. Evidence that the adopted standards are in a live environment as opposed to a lab. (800 characters = approx 100 words)
5. How has the adoption of this TM Forum interface standard(s) benefited this particular application? Information can be of a qualitative nature. (1000 characters = 170 words)
6. How has the adoption of this TM Forum standard(s) benefited the business as a whole? Information can be of a qualitative and/or quantitative nature. (1000 characters = 170 words)
7. What specific recommendation would you make for extending the standard? (1000 characters = 170 words)
