Service providers can validate and improve the efficiency of their organization and its business processes by certifying their company’s processes' adherence to TM Forum Business Process Framework (eTOM) and the TM Forum Information Framework (SID) best-in-class industry standards.
This Frameworx Implementation Conformance Assessment is specifically focused on service provider organizations and processes. The specific definitions associated with an Implementation Conformance include:
- The focus of the assessment is on the business processes and/or information definitions that are deployed within an organization.
- The assessment is specific to the organization being assessed.
- The Implementation Conformance assessment is carried out against the Business Process Framework, the Information Framework, or both.
By implementing Frameworx, service providers can reduce risk, speed service deployment, and lower costs—all critical needs in the face of market saturation, mobile data explosion, and financial pressures.
Frameworx Implementation Conformance Certification helps service providers to
- Optimize their operations by identifying process inefficiencies compared to proven industry best practices.
- Improve profits and business agility by creating a standards-conformant environment that can be changed easily to keep up with market demands.
- Reduce customer churn and unlock new business opportunities by identifying the path to a holistic enterprise data model.
- Speed deployment of new services by using industry-proven information models and business processes.
- Reduce both internal and external integration time and costs by conforming to standards.
Business Process Framework (eTOM), a Frameworx component, is the industry's common process architecture for both business and functional processes. Business Process Framework processes touch on the customer, the service, the network, and partners.
Information Framework (SID), a Framework component, provides a common reference model for Enterprise information that service providers, software providers, and systems integrators use to describe management information. Providing consistent data definitions and models speeds development and improves communication between service provider and supplier, as well as between interoperating suppliers.
The Conformance Certification Assessment process is described here.
Frameworx Implementation Conformance Certification is only issued against individual organizations and processes and not companies or individuals.
Report Misuse: Frameworx conformance is an important part of enabling the communications industry to maintain profitability as it migrates to new services and new business models. Gaining the conformance mark represents a significant investment by both suppliers and service providers.
