Service Provider Leadership Council


The Service Provider Leadership Council (SPLC) consists of a group of service providers from around the world who work together to create a unified voice for service providers’ needs from their OSS/BSS vendors. The SPLC recommendations are used to drive TM Forum work, and as such drive development of industry standards for the telecom software community as a whole.

 SPLC Overview

The Service Provider Leadership Council (SPLC) is a chartered group of the TeleManagement Forum that brings Service Provider members together for the resolution of issues of mutual interest. The SPLC is:

  • … a vehicle for sharing information of common interest between SPs
  • … a vehicle to help SPs jointly work with important vendors
  • … a vehicle to help provide direction to the vendor community to advance in a commonly beneficial direction
  • … a vehicle to help vendors take risks
  • …a vehicle to produce requirements that will drive the TM Forum Technical Program including NGOSS
  • ….a vehicle to communicate how end-user customer requirements translate to service provider requirements
