Web Presentation
It was only a matter of time before current market demands drove together two powerful frameworks—the eTOM for defining a Business Processes, and ITIL for defining good practice in Service Management.

As OSS and IT converge, the TM Forum and itSMF recognize that the eTOM and ITIL are vital for convergent, next-gen services.

In this Web discussion, representatives of both organizations joined up to explain the recent Technical Report (TR143), which outlines the synergies and gaps that exist between eTOM and ITIL.

By participating, attendees learned solid techniques and methods for using eTOM to support services that have adopted ITIL. A wide range of issues were addressed in the Web presentation, including differences in terminology, and linking the structures and views from each framework.
