Assess your company’s billing performance
The TM Forum Billing Performance Benchmarking Study provides insights into the time and cost necessary to execute and manage the billing process as well as a view into the customer experience. The study report will present your specific performance on each metric compared to your industry peers.
The Billing Performance Study is a continuing study that includes metrics selected to measure time and relative efficiency from start of bill preparation to bill dispatch. Metrics have been included to capture the efficacy of eBilling and ePayments. Also included are metrics on the time to change new services tariffs.
The reports provide valuable insights. For example, by comparing results from the 2009 and 2010 Billing Performance studies, we can see that the time from activation to bill is shrinking dramatically in all but the lagging companies:
By participating in the 2011 study, service providers will be able to compare their specific performance to their industry peers and to use the study results to: - Establish meaningful transformation objectives
- Set near term improvement goals based on their competitive landscape
- Identify and prioritize investments to yield optimal improvement in business performance
TM Forum Business Benchmarking data will change the way you think about your billing operation and enable you to act.
Participating service providers receive secure individualized reports showing their performance on each metric and have access to broader results and statistics in the benchmarking database. This is an absolutely free service to Service Provider members of TM Forum.
A report with aggregated study results is available for a fee to nonparticipating service providers.
