"Benchmarking has added great value to our client relationships. Specifically, by providing a standard base, which can be applied when talking about investment planning and business transformation choices. The Benchmarking developed by TM Forum is a very useful tool when analyzing customer concerns and is an excellent leverage point for setting operational KPIs... The return on the investment is visible and translated into sales leads”

Did you know?
- Post-pay is not that sticky after all – Business Benchmarking data shows little difference between post-pay and pre-pay business models
- Developing countries can grow mobile penetration above 30% by accepting extremely low ARPU - but they must continue to crunch costs to make this approach work
- An extra 9 on service availability can represent an unbalanced investment choice – make sure your customers really want it before you spend their money achieving it
Overview
CSPs have a critical task before them: to design and enable a new generationof services to ride across the new networks and create a return on the huge investment already made. For CSPs and their investors, the name of the game going forward is strong, steady revenue growth.
To achieve it there’s no technological silver bullet or single compelling ‘killer’ service: CSPs have to do many things right and as few things as possible wrong. But what’s the right strategy?
CSPs must embark on a tricky, multi-dimensional balancing act: investing carefully in the most promising areas of their businesses, measuring the effects of that investment, reacting to market changes and adjusting their policies going forward. Getting that balance right will be the key to revenue growth.
