What is the Developers Community Group?

The Developer Community is designed as a central place in the Online Community where Developers and Implementer’s can share experiences, problems or hints and tips.  It is also used to by other Collaboration Teams to channel relevant information to the Developer/Implementer audience.  So if you are new to TM Forum, are working on Implementing TM Forum standards, this is a great place to share experiences and gain insights into relevant information from across all the other Collaboration programs, and to get all of the latest news and information which is focused and tailored to the Developer/Implementer audience.

What are the deliverables?

There is a tooling project underway which is working to build an Interface Development Toolkit, basically working to automate interface generation. Version 1.0 was released on Aug 2010, and version 1.1 was released in June 2011.  The team is currently working on release 1.1.1 which will automate the generation of a skeleton Reference Implementation and Test Kit along with ensuring that all required features for the RAM and MPAC new interfaces are completed.  This work is intended to be complete in September 2011, and additional features are planned for Dec 2011 to support other interface generation.
