Howdy, teammates...quite a bit of SID activity going on...Josh and JohnW and I have summarized the meetings we attended as we have divided up SID-related meeting attendance among the three of us!

In support of interface development working sessions were held with Resource Alarm Management and Resource and Service Assurance teams.  Both studies have identified enhancements that will be made to the SID in support of requirements identified during the studies.  You can visit these studies on the TM Forum Interface Program's community.

In support of the Resource and Service Assurance study, there is renewed interest in the Service and Resource Configuration contributions made by Oracle (MetaSolv) and Korea Telecom.  So, this work may be restarted in parallel with Performance enhancements made to the SID.

Current SID active work areas and deliverables for Phase 9 were presented to the TM Forum Technical Committee.  The work areas can be found in the SID Wiki at http://www.tmforum.org/Community/groups/information_framework_sid/wiki/information-framework-phase-9.aspx

We had joint meeting with the eTOM and TAM teams working on the eTOM/SID/TAM mapping. As can be expected reviewing these mapping brings to the table many points in which the core Solution Frameworks are not perfectly aligned. The result of the review is verified mapping diagrams as well as list of issues which should be aligned among the frameworks.
