Live from Team Action Week Baltimore - Thu, Jun 25, 2009

Share |

Last and exciting day for the SID team here in Baltimore. We had the first half of the day dedicated to SID team meeting with some participants from other groups joining over the phone. In the morning we had a discussion with the Enterprise Identity Management team on how to incorporate their model into the SID. We had progress in this area and we expect further work on this area in the near future. Later we got a review on the progress of the CSSU (Customer/Subscriber/Subscription/User) SID sub-team. The work is converging and we start to create the model and the document in this sub group. Later in the morning Amdocs presented a contribution on how to abstract the algorithms for Usage Rating, this contribution will be submitted to the community area in a couple of weeks (after incorporating Jon Reilly's comments). Last item on the morning was the contribution from the Concept to Market team on modeling project entities and specifically SCRUM project management entities.

In the afternoon we had a session with the TIP-TC team in which we reviewed some of the lessons learned from the prototype Marc Flauw is doing in using the SID for generating interfaces. We ended this day in a session with the Customer Experience team and a wrap up session followed by a drink reception.

As usual this TAW was fruitful and a lot of progress was achieved. I would like to take this opportunity and thank all those who attended the SID meeting or joined by phone, and hope that next time (January 2010 in Lisbon) some of the people reading this blog will have a chance to participate.

Special thanks to John Wilmes and John Reilly - as usual it was a pleasure working with you.

Hope to see you in Lisbon on next Team Action Week

John Wilmes, John Reilly and Josh Salomon
