What is the Information Framework (SID) Group?
The responsibilities of the Information Framework Group (SID) involve more than developing and enhancing the Information Framework model and associated documents. Other roles are key to the success of the Information Framework. These roles include Program Management, Marketing, Roadmap Development, Model Administration, Methodology & Architecture, harmonization & liaison with other internal TM Forum programs and external bodies.
What are the deliverables?
Information Framework 9.5 draft was delivered in Q2 2011, with the final approved version due out towards the end of Q3 2011. Work is already underway on the Information Framework release 10 due out early in 2012! Deliverables are always represented by GB922 Information Framework addenda and the Information Framework Unified Modeling Language (UML) models in a variety of formats.
