TIP Ordering and Activation team

Purpose
The TIP Ordering and Activation team covers all aspects of managing customer, service and resource orders, and activation.

The goal of this team is to define an interface for handling the business objects represented by customer, service and resource orders. In order to provide input about the nature of the products and services ordered, access to a dynamic catalogue for order decomposition will be required. Similarly, access to an Inventory for storage of product, service and resource instances after they have been activated is required. This team seeks to converge the following interface standards using the TIP interface framework:
  • JSR-264: OSS/J Order Management Specification
  • TMF518-SA: MTOSI Service Activation Interface and Service Component Activation Interface
