A senior ranking executive from the Summit sponsor will have the opportunity to give a five minute welcome address to the audience at the start of the summit before introducing the Summit Chair. The theme and content of the Summit will be pre-set by the TM Forum and its External Advisory Board.

Special consideration will be given to the Summit Sponsor if they would like to nominate one of their executives as Summit Chair and/or as moderator for one of the Summit sessions – the duration of a session is 90 minutes. The Summit Chair is expected to maintain some overall continuity for the summit although the session moderators will be responsible for the management of any given session. 

Please note in order to ensure the quality and consistency of the conference, the approval of all Summit Chairs and Session Moderators will be at the discretion of the TM Forum’s Conference Producer.

A Summit Chair will typically be required to open and close each half day of the summit and thereby provide some continuity across the Summit.   A Session moderator is responsible for the operation of the session and will be responsible for introducing the keynotes, speakers, Q&A proceedings and leading the summing up process for the session. Appropriate coaching will be provided by the Conference Producer if required.
