Bharti has introduced IPTV services; its challenge was to provide best quality of customer experience to its IPTV and Broadband customer. As IPTV is quite a complex service and providing round the clock uninterrupted service to its customers was a big challenge. Using NGOSS, Bharti deployed a solution that leverages existing disparate faults, performance and probe systems that continuously monitors the end to end service, and pinpoints root cause of a service degradation due to a network health issue. This presentation will provide a case study for the IPTV solution, and it is applicable to other similar customer facing services.
