OSS/J CBEs are aligned with the TeleManagement Forum's Shared Information and Data (SID) model, from which Vendor Specific Information Models are derived.

To improve the usage of OSS/J Core Business Entities (CBEs), OSS/J has created a CBE questionnaire to gather information about usage of the CBE model as defined within the JSR144 - OSS/J Common API.
