Implementing the SOA OSS-J Inventory Web Service - Starting from WSDL
This week we create the OSSJ Web Service directly from the WSDL using NetBeans. We take a look at the generated classes and implement the create and get entity operations. The process of creating a Web Service from a WSDL is called a top down approach and is quite fundamental in SOA design patterns. The idea is to generate the Java artefact's from the specifications not the other way around ! The specifications are the WSDL, the XML schema's for the Requests and Responses and the XML schema for our domain model.
