Dynamic Content Delivery

WAVES Delivering Content Everywhere

A solution for providing Widespread authenticated Access to Video, Entertainment, and Services (WAVES) from any convenient device, attached to any broadband fixed or wireless network, at any time.

Business Proposition

Users want the capability to watch their licensed content when and where they want on the most convenient device at hand. WAVES envisions a user-friendly single sign-on solution that enables CSPs, Content Providers, and Content Delivery Network Operators to federate identity in a loosely-coupled, distributed, platform-independent manner that provides maximum flexibility for all participants. A blending of OASIS based, SAML 2.0, InfoCards as well as 3GPP IMS Authentication and Key Agreement mechanisms will be utilized as content is delivered across various domains. WAVES will also explore DRM for traditional QoS managed content as well as over the top best effort content delivery all supported by common infrastructures.
