Management World Asia

Do you need to successfully deploy a range of new digital services?

TM Forum’s Management World Asia (January 12-15, 2009, Singapore) builds upon the foundation of our global membership and extensive expertise in managing the creation, delivery and monetizing of information, communications and entertainment services evidenced in service providers around the globe.

The event extends previous TM Forum regional summits that have been specifically focused on individual countries in the region, such as India, Malaysia and China.

This pan-regional event not only brings the wealth of existing knowledge to Asia but will feature an agenda adapted to the local markets and opportunities that exist throughout Asia today and into the foreseeable future.

Management World Asia will feature a blend of case studies from Asian service providers and international perspectives from around the globe. Our theme will bring out the need for these services to be continually evolving to meet the growing demand for communications services.

What they have in common is recognition of the need for service providers to:

  • Accelerate the deployment of services
  • Respond to new market opportunities with innovative new services
  • Meet the demand for subscriber growth in developing markets
  • Manage the costs effectively to deliver profitable services

These are all areas that run to the core of what the TM Forum stands for – a member based organisation of leading information, communication entertainment players worldwide.

The conference was an excellence experience for me. The agenda was very well put together – the speaker selection, grouping of relevant topics and panel discussions post presentations - as well as the overall ambience of the venue, facility for ample interactions and overall professionalism and warmth of the TMF staff towards the participants.

A major part of all our events is the conference, and here we plan to focus on how services are changing and so too the way these services are created and managed.    In responding to local market needs and the guidance of our Advisory Council, Management World Asia will pick up on the hot topics of the day including:

  • Managing complex value chains for new content-rich services
  • Achieving agility measured by speed to market for new services in highly competitive markets
  • Developing a next generation OSS using latest software architectures and frameworks for operational excellence as part of driving down the cost of service operations
  • Transforming the business from a model of emerging and developing markets to mature and saturated ones
  • Maximising revenue though revenue management and assurance
