About Team Action Week

Team Action Week is the twice yearly event where the TeleManagement Forum’s technical working teams come together to collaborate face to face on their projects.

Spend a few days or a week with your peers working on today’s hot technology and business OSS/BSS areas. Network with service providers, system integrators and suppliers across all aspects of the telecom supply chain. Participate in working meetings where the brightest minds in the telecom operations world debate and design real solutions that will change the industry.

If you are already engaged on a team, this is your chance to meet face to face with them and truly progress your collective work. It is also your opportunity to meet with other teams to synchronize your work and ensure that your piece of the puzzle fits in.

If you are not currently engaged on a team but are interested in getting involved, Team Action Week is the perfect time. Review the technical program web pages below to see which projects interest you and contact the team leaders to let them know of your interest. Team Action Week is a great way to pick several teams and visit their meetings to find out which work is the best match for your skills and interests. It’s that easy!

A typical Team Action Week begins on Sunday afternoon with an overview of the TM Forum Technical Program and current working projects.  The week then continues with day long team meetings Monday through Friday. There are also evening update sessions on current industry issues and/or new solutions being deployed as well as networking events to meet and share experiences with other industry leaders.

Team Action Week is your chance to really get involved and shape the future of the telecommunications industry. Team Action Week is where decisions are made and real ACTION is taken.

Please contact Marianne Jenkinson at mjenkinson@tmforum.org if you have any questions regarding Team Action Week or getting involved in the TM Forum Technical Program.

**Note – Team Action Week is for members of the TeleManagement Forum only. If you are interested in participating, but your company is not a member, please visit our membership area for details on joining the TM Forum.
