The TM Forum reserves the right to reject any registration it deems not to meet the pre-requisites.

Upon Completion of the exam your papers will be taken away to be graded, whereupon the results should be available within three to four weeks.

Results:
  • Successful candidates will have their name and company name listed on our Knowledge Recognition page.
  • You will receive an official Certificate of Knowledge Certification.
  • Candidates who fail the exam will be offered an additional attempt at the exam at no further cost. If the candidate fails for a second time they will be prohibited from taking the exam for 6 months and will need to pay a fee to re-sit.

  Rules
  1. The examination will be undertaken in silence. All cell-phones must be turned off, and no communication is allowed between candidates.
  2. The candidate is not permitted to use any supporting material such as books, PDAs etc, HOWEVER, dictionaries are allowed to accommodate those candidates for whom English is not their first language.
  3. The candidate must complete the required personal details on the front page of the examination document as well as on each page of the answer booklet.
  4. For the introductory exam (level 2 - multiple choice questions) the candidate must clearly mark their answer to each question. For the intermediate exam (level 4 - essay questions) the candidate must write clearly and legibly. The candidate should allow time at the end to review answers. The TM Forum will mark as incorrect any question where the candidate’s choice is not obvious or is illegible.
  5. For the introductory exams the candidate has 1 hour. The Frameworx exam has 40 questions, while the Business Process Framework and Information Framework exams have 50 questions. For the intermediate exam the candidate has 6 questions to complete in 2 hours. Candidates who finish early are to hand up their answer book and question book and leave the room. They will not be permitted to re-ener the room until after the exam is completed. If both books are not returned, the TM Forum will consider the candidate to have failed the test.
  6. Due to the short duration of the introductory exam, candidates will not be permitted any breaks. The proctor should delay the start of the exam to allow a comfort break for anyone who needs it.
  7. Candidates can comminicate with the proctor in exceptional circumstances where they cannot understand a particular question. To do this they should put their hand up and wait for the proctor to come speak to them – so as to avoid disturbing other candidates.
