This Feature Specification Document sets forth enhancements to the TIP (TM Forum Integration Program) MTOSI interface standard so as to facilitate the management and operations of remote units attached to GPON and DSL transmission facilities. This document specifies the first version of what shall be a standard, which will evolve with both the underlying technology and the operating needs of the CSPs deploying GPON and DSL transmission infra-structures. The anticipated evolution of the standard has been captured in a road-map which is included in a supporting document related to this specification. Also included is a "Living-List" document which collects open issues and suggestions for further enhancement studies. For further information on the TM Forum Integration Program (TIP) click here
