TM Forum Information Framework (SID) Distilled
| New Generation Operations Systems and Software (NGOSS) is the telecom industry’s only true standard for development and deployment of OSS/BSS (Operations/Business Support Systems) that are easy to integrate, flexible, and easy to manage throughout their lifecycle. The TM Forum Information Framework (SID) is a corner stone of NGOSS providing the tools and language to model corporate data from the highest level right down to inclusion in software solutions.
This course provides an overview of NGOSS and three of its cornerstones: the TM Forum Business Process Framework (eTOM), the TM Forum Information Framework (SID), and the Technology-Neutral Architecture. It demonstrates the inherent and strong relationships between the Information Framework (SID) and the overall NGOSS architecture and demonstrates how the Information Framework (SID) is used as the ‘Language’ of NGOSS. The Information Framework (SID) is explained in detail and students are taken on a guided tour of the currently developed Information Framework (SID) domains. | |
