Currently the Business Benchmark program conducts studies in five research streams: |
The TM Forum Benchmarking Program uses Benchmarking studies to get at the numbers and Benchmarking surveys to get at the ideas!
The TM Forum Benchmarking Program carries out metric-based Benchmarking Studies to reveal business performance results and Benchmarking Secure Surveys to address critical operational topics!
Metric-based Benchmark Studies: Service Providers contribute their results in studies ranging from tactical to business performance data. Each study is composed of metrics drawn from an extensive (90+) library of predefined metrics. Studies cover a range of current topics.
Secure Surveys: Service Providers contribute to surveys about critical operational topics. Surveys are composed of questions targeting the qualitative aspects of performance. Since participation is secure and participant’s identities are protected, Service Providers may participate in confidence.
Special Studies: Special Studies are one-time studies developed to provide insights into a particular hot industry issue of concern to 5 or more service providers. Special studies may address any aspect of business performance. If you have a proposal for a Special Study please contact us at benchmark@tmforum.org.
Custom Studies: Commissioned to address topics of interest to individual service providers or vendors.
At all stages in the benchmarking process participants privacy and security is protected
TheTM Forum Benchmarking is conducted through a secure web-portal. Theprocess, software, and physical environment have been audited andapproved by several unaffiliated security auditors. If you need more information, a meeting can be arranged with the TM Forum CIO.
