Business Benchmarking Studies

The Business Benchmark program conducts studies in five research streams:

  • Business Performance for Broadband Services
  • Business Performance for Mobile Services
  • Business Performance for High-Speed Business Services (such as IP VPNs)
  • Business Performance for Converged Services
  • Revenue Management topics such as Billing Performance and Revenue Assurance

Business Performance Studies compare operational performance in the following key areas:

  • Customer experience indicators for call center, fulfillment, and assurance
  • Operational efficiency indicators, such as process cost, time, and rework
  • Financial performance indicators, such as time from order to cash.
Revenue Management studies and secure surveys cover billing and revenue assurance topics.

Custom Studies can also be commissioned to address topics of interest to individual service providers or vendors.

TM Forum Benchmarking is conducted through a secure web-portal. The process, software, and physical environment have been audited and approved by several unaffiliated security auditors.
