| | Demonstration Scenarios | | Scenario 1: Pre-rated Content - Content provider generates pre-rated events (events for which the content provider calculates the rates).
- The events are guided to the pre paid or post paid billing stream.
- The pre/post paid balance of the customers is updated.
- Settlement balance is updated.
- The Rating and Billing Verification (RBV) verifies that the rate is within the allowed range, that the charge amount by the content provider is indeed the amount charged to the customer, and that the settlement values are correct.
- Discrepancies cases and alarms are generated as needed.
Scenario 2: Analytical Revenue Assurance for Content - All the events generated by the content providers are accumulated by the billing and Analytical Revenue Assurance systems.
- Each month all the accumulated results in the billing system are passed to the Analytical RA.
