Input Programs
The TM Forum Interface Program draws on the results of several prior TM Forum teams:
Co-operative OSS Project (CO~OP)
Specifically targeting the systems 'integration tax' pressure on operators and service providers, nine major mobile suppliers teamed up with the TM Forum to drive open management standards. Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Huawei, Motorola, NEC, Nokia Siemens Networks, Nortel, Samsung and Wipro joined forces to drive implementation of a common architecture for mobile network management.

OSS/J
OSS/J delivers standard Solution Frameworks (NGOSS) based interfaces implementations (OSS/J APIs) and design guidelines for the development of component-based OSS systems. OSS/J technologies provide the foundation for unifying legacy systems and new applications quickly and at low cost.

IPDR
The TM Forum and the Internet Protocol Detail Record Organization (IPDR.org) joined forces in 2007 to integrate the work programs and strategic direction of both organizations. As part of the agreement, IPDR.org became a key-working group within the TM Forum Interface Program.
MTNM
The widely deployed MTNM model provides a single, common solution for managing multi-technology networks (including SONET, SDH, DWDM, ATM, Ethernet and others) and new technologies and network capabilities emerging from ITU SG15 and OIF, including the Control Plane and Ethernet. The team is also working the creation of the supporting OS to OS interface, which will be provide an XML solution set to support inventory management and alarm management based on the current MTNM object model.

MTOSI
Service Providers must deliver new services and products more effectively – faster and cheaper – than ever before in an environment that requires inter-working between many different Vendors, Technologies, and Systems.

MTOSI, the Multi-Technology Operations System Interface, is a single standard that provides the interfaces to connect these components together quickly and much morecost effectively than with customized development.
