The MTNM Solution Suite version 3.5 consists of a set of documents which define the information exchange, or interface, between Network Management Systems (NMS) and Element Management Systems (EMS) enabling management of SONET/SDH, DWDM, ATM, Connectionless (Ethernet), as well as ASON Control Plane based transport networks.
The Business agreement describes the business problem and the requirements for the solution. The Information Agreement uses a technology-neutral approach to provide model interfaces that would meet the requirements set out in the Business Agreement. The Solution Set document provides a technology-specific (Corba IDL) solution to the problem, and finally the Implementation Template and Guidelines provides a mechanism through which compliance of the implemented solution can be measured.

For complete details of the contents and changes in this release please download and READ ME FIRST which is a link to the MTNM Release Notes (RN312) which provides a structural overview of the suite.
The TMF814A, Multi-Technology Network Management (MTNM) Implementatin and Statement document can be downloaded as an independent item, or if the complete MTNM Release 3.5 Solution Suite is required then it must be downloaded as five separate zip files and extracted completely, maintaining the directory structure and file positioning of each. Please ensure you extract the files from the .zip file using the zip extract option rather than dragging the files as the extract will preserve the directory structure and the drag will not.
