This document defines the interface implementation specification (IIS) for phase 2 of the IP VPN Management project, which includes TMW Nice May 2001 as the end milestone.

This IIS document describes the practical solution developed to directly address the business problem statement as described in the project charter and section 2.1 of this document. Furthermore this document shows how this solution aligns with the TMF’s objectives, NGOSS principles and how this solution highlights the flexibility of the Plug and Play principles in a practical manner.

The approach adopted by the team for this phase of the project was to assume that no exceptions occur, however this did not limit the architectural design in any form.
