This document defines the interface implementation specification (IIS) for the Mobile IP Service Management catalyst project, shown at the TeleManagement World Catalyst Showcase in Nice (May 2001).  The project demonstrated eCRM and flow-through self-provisioning, self-activation of services, one time and usage content billing for 3G mobile IP services. Emphasis was on mobile content delivery, mobile content management and value added mobile content billing services. Content-based billing will support dynamic revenue distribution depending on different value web of service providers involved in the content delivery.

The demonstration scenario included customer and service provider order initiation through flow through service activation and modification, content delivery capabilities, and fixed and usage-based billing processing, access and display. All are performed over a simulated 3G infrastructures using a fixed wireless LAN (802.11b) PC and PDA.
