This document covers the Interface Implementation Specification of World Ordering Fast Track project for B2B Exchange DSL. The demonstration was performed at the TeleManagement World Catalyst Showcase in Nice, May 2001.
The World Ordering Team demonstrated the implementation of a DSL service fulfillment process scenario. The process scenario started with the customer request to obtain high-speed internet access. The service provider must first query the loop provider as to the ability of the loop infrastructure to deliver DSL services to the customer’s premise through a pre-qualification request. Once qualified, the service provider’s order management OSS collects all needed information and submits an order, or orders, to fulfill the customer request. An exchange clearinghouse is used to direct requests and responses between the different business partners.
