This document covers the Interface Implementation of Phase I of Optical Gigabit Ethernet Management Catalyst project.  One of the main driving forces behind the project has been the management of Revenue-Rich services.

This IIS document describes the practical solution developed to directly address the business problem statement described in section 2.1.  Furthermore this document shows how the solution aligns with the TM Forum’s objectives, NGOSS principles and how this solution highlights the flexibility of the Plug and Play principles in a practical manner.

The approach adopted by the team for this phase of the project was to assume that no exceptions occur, however this did not limit the architectural design in any form.

The demonstration was performed at the TeleManagement World Catalyst Showcase in Las Vegas, May 2001.
