TM Forum’s project titled Business Agility Implementing the SID Catalyst, was sponsored by Covad Communications, France Telecom, and Internap. This project brought together the four vendor/services partners of IBM, Pantero, Ceon, and Patni to show how the incorporation of the SID industry standard model with commercial tooling, integration software, and standardized services methods reduced integration costs and project duration for complex Operation Support System (OSS) implementations.
The project was based on a DSL service fulfillment scenario. The project implemented a design developed collaboratively by IBM, Pantero, Ceon and Patni. The project leveraged IBM’s WebSphere Business Integration Server Foundation for process orchestration, Pantero’s software for lifecycle management of the SID model and data validation, Ceon’s software as the core service activation platform, and Patni’s services for implementation.
