| In order to facilitate a “Zero Touch” end to end service solution, several companies formed this catalyst project through the TeleManagement Forum to prove and test the architecture. The phase one of the Catalyst project that was demonstrated at TMW Dallas in November 2005 included demonstrating the capability of broadband subscribers to request, cancel, or modify a VoIP service. The architecture utilized real products where standards reduced integration resources to present a realistic provisioning and management interface for service providers. The focus areas included the following: design of network elements, web interfaces, and service activation; assignment of subscribers to a set of services and a profile, assignment of VoIP to resources to subscribers and activation of the network services to the subscriber in 'internet time'
