Erik Aas, Axis
Erik Aas has ten years of top management experience in Asia, including being Chief Marketing Officer of the Malaysian operator DiGi
Telecommunications 2002-2004, CEO of Grameenphone, Bangladesh 2004-2007. Under his leadership, Grameenphone grew from 2 to
15 million subscribers. Erik joined STC as CEO of its Indonesian venture AXIS Telekom Indonesia in 2007. With green-field launch in
2008, this company is now employing 700 team members, is present in more than 150.000 retail outlets and holding more than 14
million subscribers with consistent market share and revenue growth.
Erik is holding two masters degrees, one in science from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim,
Norway, and an MBA from IMD, Switzerland.

Martin Creaner, TM Forum
Martin Creaner has been President of TM Forum for the past 3 years leading the Forum from strength to strength to become one of the leading industry associations across the industry providing leadership and vision for the rapidly changing industry.He is well recognized industry visionary for through regular blogs, articles and keynote speaking opportunities. Topics covered range from the threat of over-the-top-players to giants such as Google and Apple, as well as hot topics such including data analytics, smart grid, and mCommerce. He is author of the leading technical/transformation titles in recent years – NGOSS Distilled and Frameworx Distilled, published in 2010. Martin has been working and advising in the Communications Industry for nearly 20 years and prior to joining the TM Forum, held a number of executive positions with BT, the major UK based European Communications Service Provider, and with Motorola, the global Wireless Networks Equipment manufacturer, where Martin led the 2.5G and 3G OSS solutions development activities. He sits on the board of a number of telecoms companies, and is the Chairman of Selatra Ltd., which is a java games applications service provider for the mobile marketplace. He is an accomplished speaker and is regularly asked to chair or give keynote talks at leading global communication and business focused events.
Subhra Das, du
Subhra Das is Senior Vice President, Marketing and Customer Experience at du, UAE’s
premier quad-play telecom operator. He has played a key role in du’s ascent to a 42-percent mobile market-share position
within 4 years from launch, in what is regarded as one of the world’s most highly penetrated mobile market. He has worked in
senior management and consulting roles in various telecom operations across Middle-East, North Africa, West Africa, India and Europe.
Communicate Magazine recently featured Subhra in the list of the top 50 most powerful in the Media, Marketing and Advertising
industry within the Middle East and North Africa region.
Subhra is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, Cambridge, USA having completed the Advanced Management Program. He holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from University of Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Gil Genio, Globe Telecom
Gil Genio is head of Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Globe Telecom. He is also concurrently the head of International and Business Markets, which are the groups responsible for sales, relationships, marketing, products and support for Globe’s overseas Filipino and service provider customers, and for business customers from SMEs to the largest enterprises and BPOs. He performs other legal entity functions for Globe such as CEO of subsidiaries Innove Communications and GTI Business Holdings. Among his previous jobs in Globe was Chief Financial Officer, followed by stints as group head for fixed networks, carrier services and business customers. Gil is a Managing Director at Ayala Corporation.
Before joining Globe and Ayala, Gil Genio had spent more than 11 years with Citibank in the Philippines, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong, with stints in financial control, risk management, product development, audit and market risk management.
Gil obtained a Masters in Business Management, graduating With Distinction, from the Asian Institute of Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, magna cum laude, from the University of the Philippines.

Mounir Hasrouni, Wataniya Maldives
Mounir is a networks engineering management specialist with over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector.
Mounir has developed a deep knowledge of the mobile technologies, business processes, people management and has proven record of high achievements.
Mounir joined Telstra as a graduate engineer in 1980 and worked in diverse roles at various organizational levels with responsibilities for planning, designing, implementing and optimizing mobile networks and systems.
In the mid 90’s Mounir worked as a marketing manager for a large multinational company in Japan which major focus on developing the network services business.
In his last role at Telstra he led the team that modernized Telstra NextG core network and he was responsible for introducing the PCRF platform in Telstra.
Mounir joined Wataniya Maldives in June 2011 as the Chief Technology Officer and he is overseeing a network and IT modernisation program to drive business growth and reduce operating cost.
Lavinia Koh, Cable & Wireless Worldwide
Lavinia Koh is the Chief Financial Officer of Cable&Wireless in Asia Pacific. She is based in Singapore and is responsible for all
aspects of finance and procurement across the region. She works closely with the leadership team providing commercial advice and
financial guidance to ensure that the business performance is on track.
Ms. Koh has over 20 years of experience in financial management with 15 years in telecommunications gained from having various
roles within Cable&Wireless Asia Pacific and Indian Ocean. She started her career as an auditor in KPMG London and held
managerial positions in NHS Trusts hospitals in London. In 1994 she moved to Singapore and returned to auditing with Price
Ms. Koh is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales and is a graduate of the
London School of Economics and Political Sciences.
Neil Montefiore, Star Hub
Neil is the Chief Executive Officer of Starhub in Singapore directing all aspects of the company’s activities. His extensive experience of breaking new ground in the communications industry includes roles as CEO of M1 in Singapore; Managing Director of Chevalier (Telepoint) Ltd in Hong Kong; Managing Director of PakNet Ltd, (a JV between Cable and Wireless & Vodafone) and Director of Mobile Services at Hong Kong Telecom CSL Limited, the largest cellular operator in Hong Kong.
Neil joined Cable and Wireless group in 1976 and held various marketing and engineering management positions in Hong Kong, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. In September 2010 Neil was named as one of the 100 most powerful people in the telecoms industry worldwide. Neil was also named as the Commsday Asia “Best Telecom Industry Executive” for 2010.
Norman Donald Price, Axiata
Don has more than 25 years of experience in establishing and scaling new business operations in fiercely competitive environments
both domestically and abroad, of which 7 years with Bharti Airtel.
During the course of these 7 years, Don expanded Airtel’s presence from 6 markets in India to 23 (pan-India), as well as 4 new
international markets. During Don’s tenure, the Airtel networks were successfully scaled from 800,000 subscribers and less
than 5,000 sites to more than 100 million subscribers and more than 100,000 sites exit march ’09. Don also pioneered the
innovative Managed Capacity and Managed Services models.
Don was appointed as Group Chief Technical Officer of Axiata Group Berhad in November 2008.
Norman Donald Price IV
Gene Reznick, Accenture
Gene Reznik is the managing director for Accenture’s Communications, Media & Technology operating group in Asia Pacific and is responsible for developing and driving Accenture’s strategy for the region.
Prior to his current position, Gene served as the global managing director for Accenture’s Communications Industry practice. In this role, Gene led the company’s industry strategy and capability development for clients in the wireless, wireline and cable segments, many of which include world’s largest service providers.
Gene also held the position of global managing director for the Strategy practice within the Communications, Media & Technology operating group. In that capacity, Gene focused on identifying and addressing strategic issues related to the development of and transition to next-generation Internet-based services, an area in which he conducted extensive research and led high profile engagements with Accenture Communications Industry clients.
As the North America managing director for Accenture’s Communications Industry Network practice, Gene worked closely with the geography’s largest service providers on formulating and implementing strategies related to network and services evolution. Gene developed Accenture’s network cost reduction methodology and performed extensive research in access network planning and management.
Since joining Accenture in 1994, Gene has spent a significant amount of time working in Asia, the Americas and Europe. He is a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences and has authored numerous articles. Gene is a member of the Board of Directors for the TM Forum as well as the Wholesale Applications Community (WAC).
Gene holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University, and a masters in business administration from the University of Chicago.
Gene is based in Beijing.

Chari TVT, Celcom Axiata
Chari TVT is currently the CFO of the second largest mobile Telecommunication operator in Malaysia, Celcom Axiata Bhd with the
revenue of US$ 2.3 Billion and free cash flow of over US$ 800 M.
Prior to this assignment, Chari Tvt was the Vice President, Sales, HP Financial Services Asia Pacific and Japan. Chari had an illustrious
career in HP for over twenty years of which 10 years was in senior finance positions in various countries ( Hongkong, Malaysia,
Thailand and Singapore) and 10 years heading Sales, Marketing for Asia Pacific. He was also the Vice President and General Manager of
the Personal Systems Group for South East Asia and Taiwan where he was responsible for US$950 million of business.
He has also lived through two mega mergers/acquisitions in his tenure, learning and contributing enormously to the development of
“new” culture (Digital Equipment Corporation and Compaq).
He holds an MBA from State University of New York at Buffalo. He is also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of
Management Accountants UK (CIMA). Chari is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a member of
the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (ICWA) from India.
Idris T. Vasi, DST
Idris brings more than 20 years of experience in key leadership positions in both start-ups and MNCs. He has extensive cross-functional experience in General Management, Sales, New Business Incubation, Channels and Alliances, Product Management and R&D. He is currently the CEO at DST, Brunei's leading mobile operator and entertainment provider.
Prior to this, Idris was SVP Sales and Alliances for Ordyn Technologies and a consultant for Cloud Networking pioneer Arista Networks. Before joining Ordyn, Idris was with Cisco Systems for 11 years in the US and Singapore. Prior to Cisco, he was with a New Jersey-based start-up, Integrated Network Corp, and with Siemens in the US and Germany in various technical roles.
Idris is also a co-founder and current board member of a Mobile Internet/Smart-Grid start-up, iRam Technologies.
Idris has a MS in Computer Engineering and a BE from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Idris T. Vasi
Khoong Hock Yun, IDA Singapore
Mr Khoong Hock Yun joined Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) in 2000 and is the Assistant Chief Executive heading the Infrastructure and Services Group.
He is responsible for developing and building critical national infocomm infrastructure and next generation services to generate economic growth for Singapore. Through his scope of work, Mr Khoong furthers Singapore’s ambition to be one of Asia’s most dynamic and vibrant infocomm hubs. Among his notable achievements, Mr Khoong heads the Wireless@SG initiative, which won the 2007 Wireless Internet Institute’s Wireless Communities Best Practices Award for Economic Development for utilizing broadband wireless technology to meet social and economic challenges. Mr Khoong also heads the Next Generation National Broadband Network programme which has been widely covered in the local and international media. Also under Mr Khoong’ responsibilities are other innovative programmes such as Singapore’s National Authentication Framework (NAF), National Grid Office (NGO), Singapore Internet Exchange (SGIX), Data Center Parks, and infocomm technology deployment in the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (August 2010). He is also a founding board member of Assurity Trusted Solutions, a subsidiary of IDA.
A Harvard Business School alumnus, Mr Khoong has an exciting and varied career in senior management and development of innovative high technology solutions, with over 30 years of experience in both government and the private sector. While in the private sector, he held global management responsibilities, with direct accountability for businesses and operations in USA, Europe and Singapore. He has Masters Degrees in both Engineering and Business Administration.
