Despite the world’s economic hardships, Team Action Week 2009 in Lisbon was an inspiration as TM Forum members demonstrated unfettered enthusiasm to drive standards, frameworks and best practices forward.
At Team Action Week 2009, energy levels and thought leadership were not dampened by current economic challenges. With 150 members working day and sometimes into the night at the beautiful Miragem Hotel in Cascais, Portugal, an impressive body of work was produced in just a matter of days.
TM Forum members rolled up their sleeves to develop frameworks, interfaces, benchmarks and future Catalysts and Content Encounters (Demonstration Programs).
To kick off the week, TM Forum Chairman and CEO Keith Willetts unveiled the new Online Collaboration Community, a state-of-the-art online community designed to open up access to the tools, libraries and people that are critical to the Collaboration Program’s success. Some teams began drafting plans for using the Source Forge-based environment during Team Action Week, with the hopes of expediting and simplifying technical work going forward.
We hope they inspire you to attend the next Team Action Week to be held June 22-26, 2009 in Baltimore, Md.
