Gervais Pellissier graduated from l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC Paris), with a degree in International Management (joint diploma of HEC, Berkeley University, USA and University of Cologne, Germany) and a bachelor’s degree in law.
He joined France-Telecom Orange in October 2005 to oversee the integration of Group companies in Spain, and subsequently became Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Deputy CEO of the Bull Group, where he held various positions between 1983 and 2005.
In 2009, Gervais Pellissier was appointed Deputy CEO in charge of Group Finance and Information Systems.
Since November 2011, Gervais Pellissier is France Telecom-Orange Group's Chief Executive Officer Delegate, in charge of Finance, Information Systems & United Kingdom JV.

Former CEO and Director
Ben Verwaayen was formerly CEO of Alcatel-Lucent.
Previously, Ben Verwaayen was appointed to the Board of Directors of BT on January 14, 2002 and became Chief Executive on February 1, 2002. He left BT Group on June 1, 2008 as Chairman of the Board’s Operating Committee.
Before joining BT Group, he was at Lucent Technologies starting September 1997, holding various positions. He left Lucent as Vice Chairman of the Management Board. Other positions that Ben Verwaayen held at Lucent were Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Vice-President, International.
Prior to joining Lucent, Ben Verwaayen worked for KPN in the Netherlands for nine years as President and Managing Director of its subsidiary PTT Telecom. From 1975 to 1988, he worked at ITT in Europe.
He was appointed an Independent, Non-Executive Director of UPS in March 2005.
He has been made an Officer of the Orange Order-Nassau and an Honorary Knight of the British Empire (KBE). He has also received the Chevalier de la Légion d 'Honneur medal.
Ben Verwaayen is a Dutch national and graduated with a Master's degree in law and international politics from the State University of Utrecht, Holland.
CEO, New Business Ventures
Stephen Shurrock is CEO of New Business Ventures at Telefónica Digital. He is responsible for global content deals, venture capital investments, OTT communications, global advertising and big data.
Prior to joining Telefónica Digital in October 2011 Stephen was Chief Executive Officer of Telefónica Ireland, a position he took up on December 1st 2010. A highly experienced telecoms executive, Stephen initially joined O2 in the UK in 2000 and has held a number of senior sales and finance roles.
He was responsible for the Consumer Sales Division and managing a team of 4,000 staff encompassing Telefónica UK’s high street, franchise, online and indirect channels. During his 3 years in that role Stephen drove a huge improvement in the performance of Telefónica UK’s direct business and the online channel.
An accountant by profession, Stephen has held a number of financial positions including Head of Commercial Finance for Telefónica UK.
Group Executive and CIO
Michael R. Harte is Commonwealth Bank’s multi-award winning Chief Information Officer and Group Executive Enterprise Services.
He joined Commonwealth Bank of Australia in April 10, 2006 as Group Executive Enterprise IT. In this role, he lead the development of the Bank’s Group technology function and the implementation of the Bank’s IT Strategy enterprise-wide. Under the customer services vision of the Commonwealth bank he transformed the IT function from an internally focused, fragmented IT siloed organisation into an innovative customer centric, delivery focused organisation. In 2010 he incorporated Operations into this capability, becoming Group Executive Enterprise services. Enterprise Services provides a single customer centric face for IT and operations that utilises innovative technologies that transforms the way customers interact with the bank and the “value” it co-creates with them.
Currently, Michael is spearheading a major transition at the Commonwealth Bank, where technology and operational excellence is one of the bank’s key strategic pillars. As a result, the Commonwealth Bank is leading the industry with its billion dollar core banking modernisation project; is delivering world-class platforms; more agile IT infrastructure, and is innovating across its technology portfolio, from payments to internet banking and mobile apps. The press and a growing number of financial analysts see CBA as having a significant technological advantage over its rivals.
Michael is also actively involved in business development, transformative business models and is an expert in systems strategy, open systems architecture, integration and global systems development. He has a first class technology background gained through senior positions in some of the world’s most prolific financial services companies.
Prior to joining the Bank, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for PNC Financial Services, one of the largest investment fund administrators in the United Status. During his terms with CBA, PNC and, prior to that, Citigroup, teams led by him have been widely recognised, winning multiple awards with organisations such as CIO Magazine, Information Week, Asian Banking Awards and CIO Insight.
He was educated in New Zealand, Europe and the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and a Diploma in Business. His postgraduate studies include Economics and a MS in Systems with distinction from New York University. He is currently also working with the Centre for Information Systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on open systems and competitive advantage..
General Manager, Global Business Operations
Neil is General Manager of Global Business Operations for Skype, a division of Microsoft.
Neil joined Skype in June 2009 and oversees the delivery of core Customer Experience and operational delivery. His portfolio includes Carrier Relations in a 140 countries, Customer Service for a still growing base of 300 million users a month and Anti-fraud and Revenue Assurance and the delivery of Billings and Payments solutions. He also enables product readiness into user base.
Prior to Skype, Neil was General Manager for B to B Services at BT Group plc. for 3 years where he transformed the Global Business service experience in technical support and account management. Neil was COO at a start-up payments business in 2006 after a successful 5 year period at Virgin Media where as Director of Integration he led the alignment of NTL and Telewest operations under the new brand.
Neil also held positions as Director of Operational Development and Director of Business Planning.
Other roles include Sales and Marketing Director at Adidas UK, Operations Director at Bank of Scotland Group and Sales and Marketing MD at Havas Group where he ran Sales forces for clients like B Sky B, BT and Amex Europe.
A qualified solicitor, Neil also holds an LLB Honours Degree and a BA in English and History.
Neil is married with three children and is a keen rugby-player, theater-goer and enjoys walking his 2 dogs and supporting Liverpool football Club with all the challenges that throws-up!!

Steve Mills serves as Chief Information Officer for Rackspace® Hosting-the open cloud company and a founder of OpenStack®, the open source cloud operating system. The San Antonio-based company has been recognized by Bloomberg BusinessWeek as a Top 100 Performing Technology Company and is featured on Fortune’s list of 100 Best Companies to Work For. The company is also positioned in the Leaders Quadrant by Gartner Inc. in the “2011 Magic Quadrant for Managed Hosting.”
As Chief Information Officer, Steve Mills is responsible for Rackspace’s IT systems and tools, technology operations, operational metrics and interfacing with IT suppliers and resource providers.
Mills came to Rackspace from T-Mobile USA, where he was Vice President of Enterprise Systems. Prior to that role, he was Vice President of Technical Operations for T-Mobile HotSpot. His experience includes serving as Director for Technology Delivery for Texas Online, the State’s eGovernment portal, while at BearingPoint, Inc. He has also held positions with start-ups Alex eBanking and Berkom USA, as well as pcOrder.com, and E-Systems.
The Mississippi native has a PhD in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University, a M.S. in Computer Science from Southern Methodist University, a M.E. in Systems Engineering from Texas Tech University, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Dialog Axiata PLC, a subsidiary of the Axiata Group is one of the largest market capitalized companies on the Colombo Stock Exchange and operates Sri Lanka’s leading mobile phone network. Dialog is also a leading provider of Fixed Line, Broadband, Digital Television and International Telecommunication Services.
Dr. Wijayasuriya graduated from the University of Cambridge UK in 1989. He subsequently obtained his PhD in Digital Mobile Communications from the University of Bristol UK in 1994. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Engineering Technology UK, Dr. Wijayasuriya also holds an MBA from the University of Warwick UK.
Dr. Wijayasuriya has published widely on the subject of digital mobile communications, including research papers in publications of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) USA, Royal Society and the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) UK. He has also presented papers at several International conferences on digital mobile communications.
Dr. Wijayasuriya is a past Chairman of GSM Asia Pacific – the regional interest group of the GSM Association representing 22 Asia Pacific member countries, and serves on the Board of the TM Forum. He is also a recipient of the CIMA-Janashakthi Business Leader of the Year Award, and in 2008, was named the ‘Sri Lankan of the Year’ by Sri Lanka’s premier business journal the LMD.
Hany A. Fam
President, Strategic Alliances
Hany A. Fam is President, Strategic Alliances. In this role, he is responsible for the identification of key partnerships and development of enterprise solutions for large multinational and public organizations. Mr. Fam's focus enables MasterCard to deepen it’s relationships with major acquiring and processing partners while continuing to partner with the account teams in local markets. MasterCard expects this role to help shape the future
of business through the development and establishment of strategic partnerships especially with innovative, non-traditional leading companies.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Fam held a number of senior positions at MasterCard including, president, UK & Ireland Markets where he was responsible for overall oversight, management and the strategic direction for the second largest market in the world at MasterCard. Prior to this, he successfully built the MasterCard business with HSBC into the company's second largest business relationship in terms of revenue and the single largest in terms of profitability, globality and depth. Mr. Fam led his team to develop deep and impactful relationships with a number of significant partners, including General Motors, Marks and Spencer, Saks Fifth Avenue and Best Buy.
Mr. Fam's previous roles at MasterCard include senior vice president and global head of the Household International Business Unit, senior vice president, Sales and Business Development for MasterCard Asia/Pacific, based in Singapore, developing more than 20 strategic alliances with our largest partner banks across Asia/Pacific. He launched the company’s first Master Member Alliance program, which leveraged the organization’s assets in gaining significant business and share commitments. He also developed and implemented the first sales incentive program and comprehensive sales training system outside the United States.
Before joining MasterCard, Mr. Fam launched the consulting business of Edgar Dunn & Company in Asia/Pacific, a high-end financial services, e-business and general management practice, with offices in San Francisco, London, Atlanta, and Sydney. Mr. Fam also held the position of Deputy CEO of Cashcard Australia Limited, the largest EFT and ATM network in Australia. During his five-year tenure, he held a number of positions, including operations director and head of marketing and Business Development. He managed critical growth with a number of new network participants and directed the process of bringing major products on board.
Prior to this, Mr. Fam was the chief technology officer for Toshiba International's Power Division in Australia. For a period of five years prior to that Mr. Fam was a nuclear physicist at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, where he participated in the development of the first particle accelerator built in Australia for medical research purposes.
Mr. Fam is an associate fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a full member of the Australian Institute of Banking, a member and practicing professional of the Australian Computing Society, and an accredited member of The Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine.
Mr. Fam has earned a Master of Business Administration degree, a Master's degree in Banking and Finance and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance, all from the University of Technology, Sydney. His undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science degree from Macquarie University, Sydney, and a diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the Sydney College of Technical Education.

Bhaskar Gorti is senior vice president and general manager of Oracle’s Communications Global Business Unit. Eric Klinker is President and CEO of BitTorrent, Inc., and has two decades of networking and technology experience.BitTorrent is a San Francisco-based technology company focused on pushing advanced content delivery technologies forward in a way that makes sense for content creators and consumers. Pascal Viginier has been France Telecom-Orange Group CIO since April 2010. As such, he leads the overall IT strategy and supports the countries in achieving major transformations for the business development of Orange activities.
Pascal Viginier, 55, graduated from “Ecole Polytechnique” in 1976, and from “Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (Télécom Paris) in 1981. He is also a graduate of “Institut d’Administration des Entreprises” (IAE, 1989).
His 30-year experience in France Telecom-Orange Group has been balanced between IT and new technologies, business and operational management. He became head of research and development in 1998, and then director of sales for France in 2006.
Between September 2009 and March 2010, he led the preparation of the merger of Orange and T-Mobile in the United Kingdom leading to Everything Everywhere, the N°1 mobile operator in the UK.

Vinay Vaidya, MD, is the Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at Phoenix Children's Hospital, one of the largest children's hospitals in the USA. He brings to this position more than 20 years of experience as a physician in the field of pediatric intensive care. In addition, he has spent the last 15 years in the development, implementation, and dissemination of innovative information technology solutions in the healthcare arena. Using advanced technology, electronic medical records, data analytics and decision support, he has helped enhance patient safety, quality and efficiency of medical care at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
In addition to being a physician and a healthcare IT expert, he has been a successful educator, researcher, innovator and an entrepreneur. He holds patents in the area of computerized pediatric drug therapy and medication safety.
