As Executive Vice President, and Chief Technology Officer for Paramount Pictures Dr. Bell is responsible for leading the company’s efforts and strategy to best take advantage of advances in technology across a broad range of business areas centered on the preparation, distribution and consumption of digital motion picture content and related derivatives. Dr. Bell’s current areas of interest include the development of next generation digital distribution methods and emerging applications for internet-based communities, high definition disc formats, digital home entertainment networks, stereoscopic display and the technologies and issues associated with digital content rights management. Previous to joining Paramount Pictures, Dr. Bell was Executive Vice President, Technology at Warner Bros. Technical Operations.
