Becoming a Channel to Market for Digital Media
The current value chain for digital media and content relegates telecom providers to largely a transport role. Yet operators posses unique information and capabilities that can be leveraged to increase revenue and enhance a customer’s experience.
This invitation only round-table discussion C-level service providers and content creators is designed to provoke a healthy, creative debate on a number of key issues, challenges and opportunities including:
- What are the inefficiencies in the current value chain?
- What can be done to address these inefficiencies?
- What roadblocks are keeping telecom providers from adding more value?
- How can those roadblocks be removed?
- What strategies can create a win-win with content aggregators and distributors?
- How can operators build effective business models?
- What are the technical and operational requirements to enable them?
This will be a highly interactive session with minimal use of presentations in order to stimulate the exchange of views. New research and analysis from the Telco 2.0 Initiative™ will be used to highlight key trends and issues.
