University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest is the oldest and the most prestigious engineering school in Romania, with a tradition accumulated along 190 years of activity. UPB received rank A in the recent national evaluation and covers a wide area of study, including electrical and power engineering, automatic control and computers, electronics, telecommunications and information technology, mechatronics, bio-technical systems, aerospace, chemistry.The Automatic Control and Computers Faculty prepares engineers specialized in the fields of Systems Engineering, Computers and Information Technology, based on a modern curriculum, which is the outcome of over 30 years of experience and evolution. Our students benefit from a competitive learning environment, stimulating creativity, technical and scientific initiative, personal development and continuous involvement of future specialists in building a knowledge society. The faculty hosts research, design, consulting and expertise activities in: computing systems architecture, service science, software-enabled services, programming languages, artificial intelligence, automatic control, robots, production systems, intelligent systems, industrial automation.
