All members are required to sign an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Agreement to be accepted as a TM Forum member. The release of intellectual property rights for work developed within TM Forum is required for TM Forum work to be released to members and eventually the public.

For contributions brought into the TM Forum by a member company an IPR Agreement is required for the contribution and, when applicable, a declaration of any patent rights.
