Ernest will be presenting a current case study from Tribold's North American practice. The Customer, a tier-1 CSP in the enterprise market, faced the following business challenges: - High cycle time of products/service introduction (or modification)
- Lack of enablement for Product Managers to manager products themselves
- High costs of product/service introduction ( or modification)
- High defect rate of product/service introduction (or modification)
- Lenghly cycle time and cost of creating product bundles
- Lengthy cycle time and cost of offering 3rd party products/services
To solve these challenges the customer embarked on a Product Information Management (PIM) program to leverage standard definitions of products and services, aligned with TM Forum SID, deployed across a revised PLM, aligned with TM Forum eTOM process model. The PIM architecture integrates directly to existing OSS/BSS to radically reduce costs and associated cycle time by up to 75%.
