Over 20 different forums Longest running thread – over 23,000 hits The TM Forum launched Community Central in May 2006, and since that time the discussions have grown from initial “core” technical subjects like eTOM and NGOSS to a broader set of topics including Revenue Assurance, Telecom-Media Convergence, Prosspero, WiMAX, OpenOSS, Benchmarking, Content Management and Academia. This growth has already exceeded expectations as new groups continue to join the community and offer their own insight on hot topics in the industry.
The community currently supports over 900 users from across the globe and includes participants from service providers, suppliers, system integrators and academia. This provides for varied perspectives on a host of topics and opens TM Forum to new groups as the community is open to the public. In fact, 15% of current participants are from outside the TM Forum membership.
