The focus of the Catalyst will be to demonstrate the leverage of SID model and OSS/J-standard web services interfaces to promote B2B interfacing between service providers and their customers. The service area of focus will be trouble management.
The catalyst will expose and support the following OSS/J WSDL operations: | Customer | CreateTroubleTicketByValue | | SetTroubleTicketItemByValue | | GetTroubleTicketByKey | | GetTroubleTicketList | Trouble Ticket Transctions
The catalyst will integrate with service provider trouble ticket application using the TMF SID. The OSS/J interface will be supported by a vendor plug-in and lastly a SID to RosettaNet integration will be created.
The desired outcome will be to demonstrate the technical feasibility of an SID and OSS/J-based approach for eBonding between service providers and enterprise customers and to demonstrate the business potential for increased enterprise adoption of eBonding services that would be encouraged by providing a common set of interfaces through which an enterprise could enter into eBonding relationships with multiple service providers.
