Senior Project Manager, Ms. Heychyi Young and Researcher Dr. Joe Hu, will attend the award ceremony during TM Forum Management World 2009 at the Acropolis Convention Center in Nice, France , on May 6, 2009.
The prestigious award will be granted by TM Forum to recognize global leaders in telecom industry. Chunghwa Telecommunication Laboratories NGOSS team participated this year’s award category-“Best Service Provider” early this year base on their story to drive CHT NGOSS program to success.
The 5-year CHT NGOSS program was initiated in 2006 for BSS/OSS flexibility and agility. Another “CHT IT Consolidation” program, which is also based on NGOSS frameworks, was launched in 2008 for further OPEX reduction. Up to now, more than 70 business-driven BSS/OSS have been evolved into NGOSS. With solid practice and realization, many substantial benefits have been gained through BSS/OSS NGOSS evolution.
CHT had been shortlisted as finalist for 4 times in two distinct categories of TMF Excellence Awards for the past 3 consecutive years. In 2008, CHT won the Best Catalyst Project Management for its novel project -One Stop FMC Services.
