As a smartphone app used in over 230 countries and regions worldwide, Line allows its users to enjoy free calls and messages to one another, both nationally and internationally, regardless of which mobile network provider they are using.
In just over a year since Line was launched in June 2011, the number of registered users recorded 45 million (as of July 2 this year), and since then, the number has continued to grow at the rate of one million users per week.
