Industry group recognizes Sigma’s OSS transformation expertise
TORONTO — April 21, 2009 — Sigma Systems, an industry leader in Advanced IP Service Fulfillment solutions, announced today that it has been selected as a finalist in the Best Practices: Supplier/SI category of the TM Forum Excellence Awards 2009.
The TM Forum Excellence Awards recognize global leaders in operational excellence and their innovative contributions to the telecommunications industry.

Sigma was recognized for its service transformation project that fully automated the service fulfillment framework of a European carrier using NGOSS standards, thus allowing the carrier to efficiently deliver multi-play services. Sigma’s Service Management Portfolio is used by the carrier to deliver numerous offerings, including VoIP, DSL, video on demand, MVNO-based mobile services, and digital cable TV and satellite TV.

This year, the award winner will be decided through an open vote by more than 200 TM Forum service provider member companies. The TM Forum Excellence Awards winners will be named at TM Forum’s Management World 2009 conference, from May 4-8, in Nice, France.
