TM Forum Extends Frameworx Training to the Desktop

MORRISTOWN, NJ —October 31, 2011: TM Forum today announced the launch of online training through its website, with Frameworx Overview Online as the first in a series of TM Forum training courses to be made available online. This new service expands the reach of its respected Frameworx training courses and makes them available virtually to anyone, anywhere around the globe 24/7.

Over the past two years, over 5,400 professionals have taken TM Forum training courses. Online training brings a new dimension of flexibility, allowing companies and individuals to complete courses in their own time and at their own convenience, offering a cost and time-effective alternative to the popular in-person training courses held in more than 90 locations around the world each year.

The first available online training module is the introductory Frameworx Overview Online course, designed to provide an overview of the components of TM Forum’s Frameworx suite of standards and how the components can be used to together in the development of an Enterprise Architecture.

TM Forum provides the course through its web-based training delivery platform, and modules can be completed in any order and at any time over a 30-day period. Initially, Frameworx Overview Online will be delivered in English, with other languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Russian and German to be added soon.

“Frameworx has already been adopted by 90 percent of the world’s largest service providers and has become the blueprint for service providers looking to assess and improve business performance,” said Marie Murphy, Product Manager, Membership and Training, TM Forum. “The addition of online training to our extensive portfolio of training courses gives professionals an opportunity to remotely learn how to implement and fully utilize Frameworx through examples of real-world situations.”
